Maricel Saenz, a Costa Rican who works at his startup in Silicon Valley focused on using genetic engineering to fight antibiotic resistance.

He trained in finance at the University of British Columbia in Canada and has concentrated his career in business with a social focus.

I work in international development in South Africa, with local entrepreneurs, and in Cambodia with Hellen Keller International on a project to empower women.

A company also started to help children with autism and their families to better understand anxiety levels and thus improve their behavior.

He recently worked with Monitor Deloitte in corporate strategy and innovation consulting.

Passionate about using business as a tool to help people, she arrived at Singularity University last year, where she was part of a program focused on using technology to drive change and improve the lives of a billion people
