Luis Serrano


Luis Serrano holds a Structural Engineering degree with numerous post graduate studies in business, finance and technology at world-renowned institutions such as INCAE Business School, The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University. His career began in 2008 as a Project Engineer at Van der Laat & Jimenez where he specialized in the digitalization of productivity applications to boost performance in large scale construction projects. Today, Mr. Serrano is part of BAC Credomatic and their highly innovative Digital Transformation team as the Regional manager of Digital Intelligence.

In 2015 Serrano led a multidisciplinary team of experts to undertake the renovation of the banks website portals. With a budget of $2M, Luis Serrano and his team successfully delivered the project in under eight months, implementing a centralized, standardized and newly designed state-of-the-art user interface for its personal and corporate banking consumers across all six of the countries BAC Credomatic is in. This ambitious endeavor had substantial impact to the banks overall brand value, market share and digital sales performance. Since leading this successful project, Mr. Serrano is recognized as a relevant Digital Transformation thought leader with deep rooted technical knowledge and in a wide array of technologies including; Drupal, Block Chain, Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence. Mr. Serrano is currently pursuing a Master Degree in Data Science at Harvard University and is now also an active member of MIT’s space & physics research community. In 2018 he was selected as one of the TOP 50 most influential IT Executives by the Hispanic Council of Technology (HITEC) in North and Latin America.
